This Privacy Policy describes how 20Four7 (referred to as "we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our application on iOS or iPadOS, and when you visit our website at 20four7.fm.rodeo.
1. Information Collection and Use
Your privacy is our absolute priority. 20Four7 does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information.
Specifically:
- No User Accounts: You do not need to register, create an account, or log in to use the app.
- Local Persistence: Any channels, tags, sleep timer settings, or preferences you configure in the app are stored exclusively on your own device using iOS system sandboxed local storage (SwiftData). They never leave your device.
- No Tracking: The app does not include any third-party advertising SDKs, analytical trackers, or behavioral profiling mechanisms.
2. Third-Party Services (YouTube Playback)
20Four7 enables you to view ambient streams that are publicly hosted on YouTube. Playback is handled natively using YouTube's official IFrame Player API inside an embedded web view (WKWebView).
When you play a livestream:
- The web view loads the YouTube media player and interacts directly with Google's servers.
- This interaction is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. Google/YouTube may collect connection-level details, device statistics, cookies, and playback telemetry in accordance with their standard terms.
- We do not share any details about your app usage, custom tags, or added channels with YouTube or Google.

3. Remote Curation Logs
The app retrieves a curated TV guide configuration (`channels-manifest.json` and `catalog-v1.json`) from our static website at 20four7.fm.rodeo. Our hosting platform (Vercel) logs standard connection-level telemetry (e.g., IP address, user-agent, request timestamp) for security, server performance monitoring, and static asset caching. This information is anonymous, aggregated, and is not used to identify or track individual users.
4. Data Security
Because all customized data remains on-device, the security of your data is protected by Apple's iOS/iPadOS operating system security protocols and sandboxing. We do not maintain any cloud databases containing user information.
5. Children's Privacy
Because our application collects zero personal information, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect or solicit data from children. It is safe for audiences of all ages.
